A 4 way elbow allows for extending pestfree frames taller or wider whilst still maintaining the rigidity of the structure.?

Ideal if you have a bed that is slightly wider than 1m and you would like to extend the frame rather than adding a separate cube.?
Also good if you wanted to create a taller frame for crops like beans or tomatoes. Keep in mind it will be harder to lift on and off when it is taller than 1 metre though.
To maintain the strength of the pipe it is best to have pipe cross supports at a maximum of 1m spacing. That is where this PVC 4 way elbow comes into use.?

If you wanted to make a 1.5m wide structure
Use a which is 1m, then use 4 x Black PVC 4 way elbows plus to make the frame 1.5m Make sure that you still have the vertical pipe at the 1m mark to keep it strong otherwise you will get a bend appearing in the 1.5m length. The extra pipe will need to be trimmed to the correct length using a handsaw or this .?

Keep in mind that 1.5m wide is a full two arm stretch to handle so you may find it needs 2 people to lift it on and off.?
Our recommendation is to split the space into 2 separate frames to be able to easily handle them by one person.?

In our beds we keep everything to a maximum of 1m wide sizes as this is the easiest to handle.?
